Flying on pokemons?
Sun Jul 14, 2024 5:24 am
Good day everybody,
I have heard that some people use pokemons to fly.
Is this really possible?
I would love to see the world from above.
Regards,
Mary

Hi, Mary. Yes, there are some Pokemon that can carry a Trainer in flight! It's actually very common for Trainers who travel frequently, like League champions, to have at least one Pokemon on their team dedicated to flight. Much of my travel is too far for a Pokemon, as I will often cross multiple regions in a single trip, but I do still always have my Altaria with me in case I need to make a trip within a region.

Yes! Many flying types are able to carry their trainer- you just have to find one that’s big enough. Around here it’s usually pidgeot.

If you can get an Oricorio, they can fly AND they can break it down when you're done! Added bonus!

Thank you all for your replies.
It is wonderful to know that it is a possibility, although I am surprised that a pidgeot could do it.
We sometimes see them fly here, and they do not look big enough to carry a person around, at least not an adult.
Other than that, the only flying type that is common here is hoothoot.
Maybe if I caught a whole flock of them and trained them to fly together...
But I do not think the poor things would enjoy that very much.
Regards,
Mary
